ThePosition:
We are looking for an experienced, reliable Production Manager tooversee the overall operations of the production processes. In this roleyou will:
- Maintain production planning by scheduling and assigning personnel
- Report results of processing and production
- Ensure adherence to Quality policies and procedures
- Act as liaison between employees and management
- Train new and temporary employees in safety, quality, production, and quality procedures
- Establish priorities and monitor the progress of employees for better performance
- Manage inventory on raw materials and final goods
- Ensure machinery in the plant is safe and working properly
- Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending actions
- Participate in Quality Audits
- Utilize problem-solving skills to improve production efficiencies
AboutYou:
- A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience within a similar manufacturing production role
- Effective communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and proficient computer skills
- Ability to lead a small team with respect and diplomacy, ensuring that all team members understand their job duties and meet all expectations
- As a leader, you demonstrate strong work ethic and are ready and able to roll your sleeves up and jump in as needed
- You are reliable, responsible, and have an overall positive attitude that you bring to your role and share with your team
